Cibo Express Gourmet Market
“Yes, it's as expensive as you'd expect, seeing as it is in LGA (easy to forget), but it's worth it just for its convenience and friendly and efficient customer service.”
“Be sure to stock up before your next food less flight, and if nutrition facts matter to you, everything is well marked.”
“Anyone who is on a gluten free diet (or has other allergies) should definitely check one of these markets out next time you are in LaGuardia.”

If you're unlucky enough to be hungry in terminal C but aren't up for Auntie Anne's pretzels, Cibo is pretty much it. Junk and healthy food, including hummus, yogurt, and Naked juice. Got me through a long 3 hours until I could get Taco Bell.
Can't lie……if I have to fly Delta again out of LGA? I won't be dreading it as much thanks to Cibo! I was stuck in HORRID traffic and a desperately long TSA line. Thought I was going to miss my flight all together….but was more concerned about slaughtering my fellow passengers since I hadn't eaten all day. But I didn't want food that would smell up the plane.
The closest, kindest-for-all option I could find was sushi….and they had some darned decent options, even at 7pm! I loved the blue crab roll with real, flakey, buttery crab. And the spicy tuna with a nice chunk of tuna steak? Super good! Standard price for such rolls in NYC. I'd actually expect more gouging in an airport.
The line for check out was relatively fast. The staff were pleasant, even with the horrid energy I was putting off. In and out and on my plane in no time!
I actually want to go back and try their hot bar. It looked quite good!
I will say, however, that the burger/grill area looked like you better tuck in and have some time before you take off before trying that option….
I really like the variety of options here, especially the salad bar. This is something that I wish more airports would do. The ingredients all were fresh during my visit and it actually seemed reasonably priced. I also like how everything is set up here, but I can see it being very hectic during peak eating hours.
Fantastic pizza! It was 9am, so I grabbed a slice of the breakfast pizza and what appeared to be basil and pepperoni. So good. THe breakfast pizza was fairly messy to eat since the scrambled eggs were only loosely attached to the crust, but it was really tasty and not overly salty. The pepperoni was incredible. Ooey gooey cheesy and greasy. Definitely a great airport find! A variety of beverages including a solid selection of way pricey boxed wines. Lots of quick, healthier snack options are available in the check out lane as well. Multiple cashiers make the intimidating line go quickly!
It's your only hope if you fly early. May god and their overpriced alcohol have mercy on your soul.
Dang! They have SEVERAL vegan options. How cool and modern of you, NYC.
The salad I got here was definitely the highlight of my wretched airport evening.
The problem is that all the food is leaking! The dressings on the salads and the sauce on the sandwiches are all pouring out of the containers they are in. It's nasty. So each time I picked up a wrap, it's juice poured out down my forearm.
They got to figure that out.
It's expensive also but not unexpected for airport food. Captive audience you know.
For an airport mini mart-cum-eatery this is tops. Love the marketplace selections that include a hot bar, salad bar, and a delicious range or prepared foods including blue crab sushi rolls, excellent vegan options, gluten free turkey wraps ( super tasty!), and even buffalo tofu nuggets. No joke!
Be sure to stock up before your next food less flight, and if nutrition facts matter to you, everything is well marked.
Deli inside an airport is a rare sight but this place has it. The food isn't great but it doesn't taste bad either. Good place to grab a quick and relatively healthy meal with some variety before boarding.
