I'm really picky with Chinese restaurants, as the food from many of them skeeves me out and isn't up to my standards. Grand Fortune passes the test, as everything I've ever ordered from them has been delicious. That being said, it isn't so amazing that I would go out of my way to place a pick up order… which is why it is so unfortunate that their delivery service absolutely blows.
I've noticed a trend that if the weather is remotely bad, this place isn't available for delivery. I used to order from Grand Fortune regularly, but the past three times I have tried, delivery wasn't available. THE WHOLE POINT OF DELIVERY IS SO THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO LEAVE MY COUCH WHEN IT IS RAINING. No, your food is not worth getting my shoes and socks wet. No, your food it not worth losing my parking spot and battling idiots who think rain is equivalent to blizzard and lose all recollection of how to properly drive a motor vehicle. Everybody is replaceable and this place is no exception.
I'm not sure that I will even attempt to order from Grand Fortune ever again. It isn't worth the aggravation of being told no when I try to place an order for delivery. On to the next one.
I don't get Chinese food too often but if I do this is my go to place.
I've had the wonton soup from here and it taste good. The wontons aren't mushy and they won't fall apart on you but they aren't hard. They are just right!
I also have had the general tso chicken. They actually have a real good sauce here! They even make it on chicken wings!! I personal like it better on the wings for some odd reason. It has a spicy sweet kick too it.
Another dish I like is the vegetable lo Mein. Lots of places make their lo Mein very greasy and oily. The one from here isn't greasy or oily at all which is why I really like it.
