  1. My boyfriend and I ordered food from here specifically because they are known for not using food enhancers such as MSG, which is found in most chinese foods in America.

Now we do believe that the meal we got was definitely healthy and free of MSG and other bad stuff. However it was probably the blandest, and flavorless food we ever had in our lives. Really it had very little flavor to it at all.

I make healthy meals all the time that are equally tasty and healthy, it is not that hard.

Our food also did not taste fresh and it looked like it was sitting out for a while.

Eh I really do not have much more to say other then this was slightly disappointing. I think we prefer the regular chinese food calories to this.

  2. With one Chinese restaurant already across the street, apparently another one was needed.

Yummy is exactly that, pretty yummy. It's roomier then the one across the street. I thought my chicken and cashew was pretty good, even though it's basically the same taste as  the one across the street.

I guess 2 Chinese restaurants will be dueling for "Best of Eastchester Rd."

  3. I am not sure if I caught this place on an off evening, but I was not terribly impressed. I ordered Fried chicken wings and my favorite standby, Singapore Mei Fun. The wings were smallish, dry, and not very tasty. The Mei Fun was acceptable, but nothing special. I ordered it extra spicy, and it was medium to mild at best. The shreds of pork were fatty, and it had only a few bits of chicken and veggies.

There are several Chinese places around, and I'll try another one soon.
