Had rice bowl last night. We had fried dumplings, fries, egg rolls and vegetable lo mein. Nothing too crazy, but simple quick eats. $18+ for everything
We picked up our food in 15 min. and honestly the place needs a little update. The wood panel walls and everything else is pretty outdated.
I know what we ordered was greasy. But this stuff was super greasy. I've eaten at many Chinese places and this is by far the most greasiest. My lo mein was drenched in oil and soy sauce. The top of the lo mein was great and the vegetables are chunky. But when you get to the bottom it has so much oil and soy left. The dumplings come in 12 and they were good. Egg rolls are pretty big and filled up.
I may try out the general tso or the sweet and sour chicken next time, since someone did mention it's the white meat chicken Lol
I dunno what it is, but the egg rolls are the best.

Best Chinese food ever! Grew up in Clark and used to go to the one on Raritan Rd in the shopping center. When that closed we ordered from here instead bc both restaurants are owned by the same family, or are somehow related (I'm pretty sure, the food is identical). Still the best Chinese food I've ever had. Through all my years moving around and whatnot, I have not found another Chinese restaurant that compares to the Rice Bowl. The fried rice and Orange Chicken are the best! I won't eat Chinese anywhere else now.
