Jani Chinese & Japanese Cuisine

“The place does get really crowded and they dont have too many wait staff so sometimes they are running around like crazy but it's all worth it 🙂

Everything here is always fresh and delicious!!”

“What I love about Jani is that they slice the chicken into strips and cook it up so crispy- so much better than my usual takeout.”

  1. Decent food, I give more credit to the sweet waitress who was very helpful.  My family went crazy and ordered everything on the menu, so I got to try everything!

We had seafood panfried noodle (noodle was good and crispy)

I also was craving a spicy tuna hand roll, and it came out immediately and the seaweed was still crunchy yum!

My crazy sisters also craved peking duck and I was sketchy on ordering this at this restaurant but it was really good, crisp skin and the duck wasn't overcooked and didn't have that gross duck smell.

I've gotten a few other items before, I totally forgot what they were but I've been here a couple times and  I would go back.  And they're kid friendly every time I come in with my niece she has fun!

  2. I walked into this place and felt like I was walking into a Chinese food-induced nightmare.

The place is SO tacky. The walls are mirrored and you feel as if you are sitting inside one large hutch cabinet.

We went for the lunch special on a weekend, and thank goodness that's all we came here for.

The food was typical Chinese takeout-style food. I got General's chicken with brown rice. The platter was large, but it wasn't anything to write home about. Hot and sour soup was like I had anywhere else.

Worst of all, we each got a glass of soda and then one refill. Four small glasses of Coke cost us $7, almost as much as one of the lunch specials, which hovered around $7.50 depending on what you got. Ludicrous!

The wait staff wasn't friendly in the slightest, so there are just no redeeming factors for this place. One of the dudes who works there was sleeping on the chairs next to the restrooms. As you can tell, it wasn't all that crowded here, which should have been a warning sign to us.

    Avoid.
