  1. This is a Brooklyn staple. Love the sandwiches here. The roast beef sandwich with mozzarella cheese and Carmelites onions was delicious. The hero was nice and fresh and tasty. The potato croquet was yummy.

  2. I've been making "hot roast beef" sandwiches in my personal
    kitchen for years, so I don't usually order them out. I did today, based on the prior reviews here mentioning John's creation. First off, I was really impressed that the roast beef was still in roast form, and sliced to order! I don't even do that at home. Then, the sandwich was assembled, topped in cheese, and slid into a hot oven to achieve a melty, crunchy goodness factor that gave it texture and body. Once done and removed from the oven, the sandwich artist gingerly lifted the sliced beef, and inserted some cooked down onions and gravy amongst the slices.. While it may not seem a big deal, the gravy works it's way INTO the beef this way, akin to the quick gravy dip method I personally use. The results are a sandwich with it all.. Tender beef, hot dropping gravy, and oozing mozzarella cheese accompanied by a a roll with some crunch in every bite.. Highly recommended..  Wish they had some seating available tho..

  3. Can I say that I am in love? This place has the best roast beef sandwich EVER it was SO good that after I tried it I went back to get another one for my husband to go. Service is friendly and fast so it makes for pleasant ordering. If you get the roast beef, which is what they are known for, get the works. The gravy adds an extra layer of flavor and the onion compliments the beef.

    I am afraid to try anything else here because I am addict to this sandwich.
