Parkside Market is a small deli near Astoria Park. Initially, I was excited to see a deli somewhat close to my apartment with organic goods, however that excitement was quickly silenced when I learned this deli does not accept cards…at any cost.
I understand card minimums, but for a deli that sells mostly organic groceries at higher prices I would expect cards to be accepted at some point.
Overall, not impressed. While the location might be great for picnics in the park during the summer, I would rather walk up to Othellos, where the sandwiches are epic, service is friendly, and they accept cards for amounts over 10 dollars.
