Ted's is approximately 4 blocks from my office building.. It is a great deli and we often order sandwiches for our larger meetings from this location.
All of their sandwiches that I have tried have been excellent, I have no complaints about them. When you walk in there are always several employees waiting to take your order. My personal favorite sandwich is "the Godfather" a warm roast beef sandwich on a sub role with lots and lots of gravy!
I highly recommend them if you are in the area and are looking for a sandwich!
From all the reviews I had high hopes before going in and maybe it was an off day since there seemed to be a newly hired kid working the front, but overall it wasn't as great as I had expected.
We ordered the italian combo and the melrose and it was good but it wasn't something that can't be found anywhere else either. The fries would have been good if a whole bottle of salt and pepper weren't spilled into it.
The service however was good and everyone that worked there seemed genuinely nice. But pass
This is by far my favorite deli in my area.
They have rotating breakfast sandwiches on a day to day basis. Always made fresh.
They have over 10 specialty lunch sandwiches you can order.
Ted's Fries are a MUST! (you won't regret it)
They do deliver but only on certain time windows and during lunch rush there is almost no parking =(
Ted's Deli is a great local spot to grab a sandwich and a side for breakfast or lunch. They have lots of fresh food made daily and a bunch of specialty sandwiches. I go to Ted's for breakfast and/or lunch about 2x/month and get a bacon, egg and cheese (bacon well done). I just noticed recently that they have breakfast sandwich specials once in a while. I was grabbing a BEC for myself and a taylor ham, egg and cheese for my coworker when I saw a big sign outside that read "Taylor ham, egg & cheese 3.75 today."
My absolute favorite lunch sandwich is the Sloppy Ted!!! I have tried it their way as well as substituting the pastrami for turkey and it's incredible either way. It's a very large sandwich (heigh-wise) and the mixture of cole slaw & russian dressing is like no other.. never would have thought of that myself. Ted's is a very common lunch spot among my coworkers because we work nearby.. a few times a week I hear people asking "Ted's for lunch?!" Delish.
