  1. This diner was quite a reprieve after a long, sweltering day of walking around Long Beach with my brother and boyfriend. A bit disappointed that they don't serve alcohol, and while they're apparently famous for their milkshakes we were looking for something a bit more refreshing. You really can't go wrong with an Arnold Palmer on a hot summer day! We ordered a couple appetizers to share: mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, spicy waffle cheese fries. We really didn't mind that all three more than likely came out of frozen bags from Costco – our expectations for this place weren't that high to begin with.

Kind of cool that it's located right next to a Pokéstop, though. We set up two lures during our stay there, and caught a bunch of Magnemite. Btw, what's with all the locals staring? It's as if they've never seen an interracial couple before. Oh, wait-

  2. The nicest staff ever! There was a 20 minute wait when we arrived and the host took my phone number to call me when a table was available. We went to get gas and a parking spot and he called us just as we were ready.

The food was great typical diner fare, with quality ingredients and killer shakes! My mom got an egg-white omelette with spinach and swiss with french fries and I got the long beach burger (1/2 lb burger with cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, green peppers and a creamy dressing) with onion rings. The burger was nice and medium rare, as I had ordered.

Our waitress was super nice and we had a really good meal and it wasn't too greasy like some diner burgers. Unfortunately, they ran out of oatmeal, which my mom typically gets and really likes.

Not a ton of seating like your typical diner, so sometimes a wait on weekends. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good fun diner, with an awesome shake menu.

  3. There's been a lot of hype about these wonderful milkshakes w ice cream different colors and some knickknacks on tops so gave it a shot w the family and it was really good and as advertised,it is on the other side of town n beautiful Long Beach and it's a smaller place then i imagined, you walk in and find no hostess stand it's in the back which I found to be strange ,Sunday at 5 o'clock the place was filling up quick but we only had to wait 5-10 minutes, hearing mixed reviews about the service I didn't know what to expect but we had a very sweet waitress who was very accommodating from the get-go,started off with chicken Cordon Bleu poppers w gravy and they were really really good! Lotta taste!Wifey had a Bacon cheese burger and it's what you expect a good diner burger to be, big juicy and delicious.I had the roast beef mozzarella sandwich and it was pretty good,a little dry for my liking ,I've had better The kids liked the grilled cheese and Junior burger now onto the shakes!we went w the original nutella, strawberry shortcake and a brownie batter, very very good, I would go there just for these fun concoctions to cool down after a long summer day, look forward to another visit very soon to try some different shake flavors maybe the Cap'n Crunch or cake batter but first I have to hit the gym to work off what I ate today! LOL

  4. This is a great diner.  The chicken souflaki is great.  The best thing of course is the innovative milkshakes.  People come for miles to try one of their great milkshakes.

  5. These milkshakes have been on our bucket list for a while – so glad that we were finally able to stop by!

While they may be overpriced, they are worth it. They are DELICIOUS and fun to drink with all of the colors and toys they include. We grabbed ours and brought them down to the boardwalk to enjoy while watching the sunset (highly recommended).

There were a ton of people waiting for to-go milkshakes so be prepared to wait. Again, it is worth it, I promise!

  6. Came here for a milkshake because I heard they're good and that's what they are well known for.

My friend got the brownie batter milkshake and I got the cake batter. I thought both were pretty good milkshakes but nothing to go crazy over. They're about $6.

The presentation of the milkshake is really nice. My friend's had a toy car sitting on the whipped cream and mine had a small windmill type thing. It was nicely presented as it was colorful. See pic.

Might come back here for a milkshake but wouldn't go out of the way for it.

  7. Love the rainbow milkshake and pancake idea.

The milkshakes are delicious and come with little toys.

They decorated the entire place rainbow butterfly's. I kind of felt out of place like I should have brought a child.

The service was fast and the waitress was nice.

Will be back for more shake!

  8. My go to place for milk shakes on long islands. The majority of all the milk shakes are $6.95 which is a reasonable price since each shake is hand crafted and decorated with some nicknack of a toy.
