  1. VERY surprised that I'm the first to review this spot! Montclair Diner is an awesome place for a classic breakfast. The owner (smaller, Italian guy) has been one of the best diner owners I've encountered — always working and talking with the people, making jokes, telling stories; It's a rarity nowadays, but adds to the place's vibe.

    The prices are great. $3.75 for two eggs. The food is fresh, service is quick, and it runs very smoothly. (Sidenote: thr OJ isn't a hole in the pocket! BIG +).

    **THEY DO NOT TAKE AMEX**

    Come here if you're in Montclair for a good start to the day.
