  1. Awesome diner. Love this place!
The breakfast and lunch is delicious – I've never tried any dinner plates but I'm sure they are good as well. I have eaten here multiple times with various people and have never heard a complaint about the food.
Try their freshly squeezed orange juice – delish.
Oh, and Mercedes is the best waitress!

  2. I have been a longtime fan of diner food and have searched for the perfect diner. Alas, I search no further.  Living in New Rochelle, it is a slight trek to get there, but far worth it. The staff is always attentive and accommodating and I have been there days where my food was out in less than 10 minutes. A bit on the pricey side as far as diners are concerned, however the portions are good and always tasty. I usually go with the Rueben on rye which cheese fries. My only complaint is I'm not a fan of the brown gravy, but its a small speed bump in an otherwise great meal. They offer great panini's, salads and wraps. Whether you want to clog your arteries with the choo-choo platter ( i have many times) or go for a heart conscious Mediterranean wrap with a side of fruit, mam diner has it.  Typically, my problem with diner deserts is that they look good but taste horrible. They have a chocolate cake here that is not only good looking but good tasting as well. Also, in the warmer months, I'd suggest sitting outside in the small deck area they have. The view isn't great as you would suspect since it is by the harbor, but I have yet to see any diner with outdoor seating.

  3. Mamaroneck Diner & Pizza is an okay diner. Wouldn't be my first choice to go to if I was in the mamaroneck area. The food is alright and customer service is alright. Does take a while for the food to come out. Would recommend going to Nautilus Diner just down the road.

  4. What began as a nice lunch with my grandma and family in Mamaroneck ended in spoiled food, undercooked chicken and dissatisfied customers.

It takes a lot for my family to lose their appetite, but this diner managed to do just that to us. At first, everything was normal and we were having a very typical diner experience. When the soups came (butternut squash and cream of turkey), they were even pretty good, so I had high hopes for the rest of the meal.

However, when our main courses came out, things started to sour — and I mean the food.

For starters, one of the three Mediterranean dips we ordered for the table was rancid and spoiled — I think it was supposed to be baba ganouj, but I couldn't tell over the sourness of the expired dip.

Next came our salads. My step mom got one of the salads with chicken, but the chicken, instead of being grilled, was RAW like a tartar. WHAT'S WORSE: When we sent it back, the manager never even came out to apologize for serving us raw chicken, though they did remove it from the check.

My brother had also ordered two poached eggs, but these came out as overcooked hard boiled eggs instead, which we had to send back. I don't know how you mess up poached eggs, but Mamaroneck Diner managed to.

If you're going to serve such disgusting and dangerous food at your restaurant, the least you can do is come face us and apologize for a terrible experience. I have no intention of coming back here and only hope that nobody gets sick from rotten or undercooked food.

  5. This diner offers it all (as a diner should) and you can get it anytime.  The service was fine, nothing stellar, but the order was right and service was quick.  We simply had breakfast and nothing fancy, but I reviewed the menu and it has some interesting offerings.  I would have dined here twice during my visit, but had vowed to keep trying new things.  If you are in the area go, you'll be happy you did.  Enjoy!

  6. The service here is decent, not many waitors will come up and ask if you need anything or refill your water, but if you ask them for something they are usually pretty quick about getting it to you. I'm one of those weird people who likes ketchup but not tomatoes, so when I say no tomato and mozzarella cheese on the fries I am happy when they get my order correct. I also request for extra crunchy bacon here for m sandwich and the are also good about making sure it is cooked well done.
The diner as well as the bathrooms are also well maintained, which I appreciate. If a restaurant isn't cleaning its bathrooms, what else aren't they cleaning?

  7. This place puts normal routine diners to shame! The food here is like no normal everyday diner, when you come here you'll get restaurant quality food. My fav dishes Here are the chicken salad sandwich, the original pizza is better than some pizzerias, their pasta dishes are really good! The staff here is friendly, it's clean, warm and welcoming.. Their breakfast menu is quite attractive with all sorts of different combinations! You will leave satisfied
