Subway sandwich eatery at this location is where I go whenever I am in the mood for a sandwich and want to eat it and browse around near W4th. This particular day, I planned to spend my lunch time enjoying my Subway Sandwich, potato chips and Iced Tea while enjoying the beautiful scenery and ambiance in Washington Square Park.
I proceeded to order one of my usual sandwiches…Meatball Marinara (add pepperoni) with American Cheese. I requested that it be toasted and he put it into the Machine to complete the toasting process. When I looked at the sandwich after he removed it from the machine, the bread was burnt! The individual that made my sandwich was cool enough to fulfill my request and give me fresh bread, however He "threw" the meatballs, pepperoni and cheese along with the additional condiments (lettuce, spinach, black olives and ranch sauce) between the bread and it looked rather unorganized. Because I did not want to make a fuss, I simply paid for my sandwich combo and left the store.
I appreciated that he exuded customer service by giving me fresh bread but would have appreciated the sandwich preparer taking his time to put it together so that it did not look messy. All in all, the sandwich was good and eating it in Washington Square Park is always loveyl!
