I can't speak to the long list of fruit and vegetable juices intended to treat bad breath (beets and cucumber) or insomnia (apple, celery, beets) or the "hangover killer" concoction (apple, lemon, beets, ginger and carrots.)
But I can say that I hope to explore more of the food offerings after getting the pork patacon, a multi-faceted powerhouse of flavors and textures. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
Came here to grab a quick breakfast sandwich the other day. They recently just opened and the place is very clean and organized. Their specialties are inexpensive fresh juices (which is hard to get in the area) and tasty empanadas. I've only tried the the cheese empanada and it was great, best of all….the prices are very low. The service can be a bit slow, probably because they just opened up but its worth it, the people here are very nice.
