  1. Coming in I was happy surprised to see how pretty the restaurant is. It really is stunning nicely decorated. This family owned restaurant has a very nice feel to it but, even though tonight wasn't that busy, I still think they would do well to have one or two more employees. Our server Chris, he made a point of telling us his name I think four times, was nice but a little slow. He was knowledgeable about the menu which is good, but sometimes seemed a little overwhelmed.

The food was fantastic. To start we got pita bread with some sauce on the side. I don't know what the sauce was but the pita was fantastic. My mother got a salad that had walnuts and cranberries it looked fantastic. My father's cup of lemon chicken soup, cannot pronounce the Greek name, was huge.  We saw someone at another table that had the bowl and oh my goodness you could drown in how much soup they give you. And it was some of the best lemon chicken soup I've ever had outside of Greece. My horiatiki salad was great. I don't know what brand they are using for their feta cheese but so delicious.

My mother spanakopita was amazing nice and flaky and obviously not put in the microwave before hand. My chicken entrée had peppers and mushrooms and tasted amazing. I think it's really stupid that they butchered one or two potatoes to put on my plate because they were completely unnecessary. Additionally the potatoes were just bland but really what you expect from potatoes? Though it was some of the best green beans I've had in ages. And my father's shrimp saganaki was so good. I love orzo! This dish had a great flavor and was huge. I really think it would be impossible to go to this restaurant and leave hungry. Overall it was a very nice experience and I can't wait to go back!  I would recommend this place to friends and family.

  2. I was so pleasantly surprised after trying Pita Park.

The inside is very welcoming and nicely decorated.

I ordered out and picked up, the girl on the phone was super polite and attentive.

The food was great!  I got a chicken gyro and pork gyro with a side of fries.  And they add french fries to their gyros….delicious!

Cant wait to come back and try some more.

  3. Since out usual greek go to spot is closed on sundays we decided to try this place as take out.   With the hot summer days no one wants to make more heat in a warm house!

So i searched the menu online and searched felllow yelper photos to help make my decision!

They do offer delivery but only within 3 miles we are out of that so no big deal!

My sister order chicken gyro.  And we also ordered 2 lamb gyro platters   We also ordered a. Saganaki which is fried cheese.  It was okay.  Maybe its better really hot. And not having been in a container?

The lamb gyro platters came with a choice of salad or soup so we opt for salad.  Which had some mesculin greens and shredded carrots. It came with a balsamic dressing! you also get a some tzaziki sauce was amazing!! Lots of lamb in the container it felt endless!

I thought the platter came with pita bread also. But none was with it.  And we were too hungry and not worth driving back for

Overall i would order again and dine in!

  4. Scrumptious food. Every time is just as great. Great service too. Def recommend to anyone who enjoys Greek food.

  5. I was craving a gyro the other day and did a quick search on my phone for a local spot. Pita Park came up so I decided to give it a try. I called in advance and ordered a lamb gyro. The girl I spoke to said it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was $7 and change. She had told me it's big so I skipped an order of fries, since I knew there would be some already in the sandwich. I went to the pick up the food. It was a Saturday afternoon around 4 and the place was empty. The girls were super friendly though. Everyone greeted me when I walked in. It was clear that the service is good. Since it is summer and a lot of people grill during the day and it was early…could explain why it was so dead, bc it's not bc the food sucks. The gyro was delicious. Generous amount of meat, very flavorful. It was exactly what I was craving and it was definitely very big. I would order from them again.

  6. Small but great! Ive never been inside but I've only heard great things about the place! I've had the food and the food is so great! I love the chicken gyros and my family love the chicken fingers! Located in the heart of floral park and will definitely recommend to people!

  7. Surprised they didn't have a shepherd salad or eggplant spread. Those are two things I look for as an appetizer when I come to a Greek/Mediterranean place. I was told Horitiki salad was most similar to the shepherd salad but it was not. The complimentary pita bread was good but the sauce was nasty. The fried octopus wasn't what my boyfriend expected. It wasn't satisfying. The chicken gyro platter was a bit upsetting. The chicken was flavorful but the rice was mushy and watery so we didn't eat much of it. It definitely wasn't worth it to get a platter as compared to a sandwich.

  8. I'm not sure if the 5-star reviewers ate at the same restaurant I went to tonight.  The mayonnaise based dip the complimentary pita bread was served with (to start the meal) was awful.  The spinach pie appetizer was ok, but my chicken souvlaki was tough and  dry, with almost no tzatziki sauce to speak of.  The sandwich was accompanied by 3 French fries, which was bizarre.  There was no babaganoush on the menu.  The baklava was mediocre.  And the chicken lemon soup was runny without much lemon flavor.  The new location is gorgeous, but the food was disappointing.  Our server was attentive but obviously inexperienced.
