Great food as always and very friendly attentive wait staff. I ordered grilled chicken over arugula and it came out beautifully. Halloumi cheese is to die for, I actually went there just for that appetizer! Love the new decor!
Very weak restaurant both in terms of food quality and decor. The booth my wife and I sat in had sticky seats. It also had a bad smell of mold. That made it difficult to eat our meal. We ordered salads and grilled octopus. The salads were fresh but did not come with my dressing. The grilled octopus was tender and flavorful but not worth the price.
What everyone looks forward to after a long night out with friends: Next day brunch.
My best friend, (being from Jersey) recommended this place. I thought it was interesting going to a Greek establishment for breakfast, but hey! I'm always down. The place was light, spacious and had that "diner" feel. As well as our group of 4 was seated right away. The breakfast/brunch menu was interesting. It had classic meals like 2 eggs any style with homefries and toast (my choice) to reese's peanut butter cup pancakes… too much for me.
The eggs (over easy) and homefries were good and hit the spot. The waitress said that our meals came with coffee and juice which was nice. However, the juice… they couldn't make that glass any smaller if they tried. I might as well have called it a shot of OJ rather than a "glass".
I didn't encounter the rude owner like everyone else has mentioned. On the flip side, the waitress was super sweet and patient while we were deciding our orders. Speaking purely on their breakfast menu (which didn't have any real greek influences) it was a solid meal.
I visited some friend in Westwood and after a movie in the area, we went to its Greek to me for dinner. We were seated immediately and proceeded to order. My friends each got a bowl of the lemon chicken soup, I got a cup-it was very good. They are frequent visitors and love it. My one friend got a salad with grilled chicken and the other friend I think had the same. I got the grilled seafood plate which came with calamari, shrimp and a yellow rice with some grilled vegetables. They also gave us pita bread to nosh on and we ordered a plate of tzikizi as an appetizer. It was very good, I would recommend and return especially if you are going to the movies in the area.
Studying for exams is not my thing. In need of food (and distraction) my brother so kindly offered to treat me to dinner.
At first I was angry at the place bc I'm impatient and it took them at least 5 minutes to seat us when more than half the restaurant was empty. Plus the waiters looked looked like they were just staring at us, sizing us up, wondering why two asians would want Greek food. (It just looked like that, I'm sure they weren't REALLY thinking that… I hope.)
After being seated, the waitress kindly took our order and was always ready to anticipate our needs… "Do you need more pita?", "More soda?", "Can I wrap that up for you?", "The answers to your exam tomorrow are…" The food was served super quickly and it was SUPER delicious… Each bite was a burst of flavor that left you with a feeling of, "I can't wait to eat here again!" And I surely can't wait…
Definitely try this place =) Great service, great food, spacious setting… I'm not sure you need much else.
