I love this Greek man. He is a great cook. He cooks my breakfast platters. He cooks my knishes. He even cuts them in half and puts both sides on the grill and then combines them back together in perfect union. He brews my coffee. I've never had such good coffee. This is the one truck that serves everything. AND you can call in your order and pick it up. It should be renamed the Dream Truck.
It's opened from about 7:30am to 4:30pm, the same hours I have classes. But I finally got to leave class early today and catch it before it left. I happened to catch Elsie W. there too, and a couple of empanadas. I had a bite of her knish. I enjoyed it.
The people working the truck are awesome. The crowd that regularly goes for breakfast or lunch is actually larger than you might expect. As a result, depending on your order, it may take more than a quick 5 minute trip you probably planned. Even then, it's a lot more convenient and time-efficient to call in your order ahead of time.
The prices are alright – it's a typical food truck after all. There's a different lunch special everyday varying in price between $4.50 to $5.50. It consists of a particular sandwich plus your choice of fries or a soda. I haven't really tried everything but the philly cheesesteak special would probably be worth the most for your money. The sausage and peppers is pretty good too in case that's the lunch special.
