  1. I enjoyed the Tuesday night buffet. The basics like vegetable biryani were good and I experienced many ingredients I couldn't identify or explain. When I occasionally go on three-day vegetarian stints (to make up for years of meat) it's great to find such active flavors. The kadai paneer was probably my favorite item.

  2. Went there for dinner and didn't have a good experience. The waiter was very weird, he was rushing us the whole time and rude. The service was sub par and not that i had high expectations but the server's attitude just threw me off. To talk about the food, I ordered the paneer mysore masala dosa, it was okay, not very tasteful, the coconut chutney was very watery. We also order onion chilli utappam
Which was so thick that we ate two bites and were done eating. Sambhar was watery too and was served in sip size bowl. Not returning this establishment again!

  3. Pretty good dosas. We tried the masala dosa and the Bangalore masala dosa. To drink, we had the salt lassi because they were out of the thumb's up – a soda I enjoy from time to time when dining at Indian establishments.

The dosas were crispy and buttery – perfectly thin too. The masala dosa was pretty standard with the filling on the side – it was nicely spiced and freshly made.

The Bangalore masala dosa was insanely spicy —'green chillies galore! And that red powder chutney that lines the inside of th dosa had my tongue on fire! They did, however,'warn that it would be spicy so I asked for the medium spicy version. Make sure to ask for mild if you can't handle spicy foods because even the medium is fiery!

The lassi was subpar and didn't have any cumin, red powder, or other spices in it.

The atmosphere is okay – fairly clean but poor lighting, not a ton of decor or character, and paper placemats. Super duper casual is a nice way of putting it. The staff is nice enough but sort of impatient and didn't allow me to spend enough time looking through the menu.

I give the place three stars because the dosas saved them. I should add that aside from asking for mild food, be sure to try all of the chutney options!

  4. This is one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. It's mostly Southern Indian cuisine, with some Northern staples like Mutter Paneer (don't get those because everyone can make it, go for something more exotic). The first time, we got a Gutti Vankaya and Avial. The Gutti Vankaya used very high-quality eggplants and just the right amount of spices. In other places I've been too, the eggplants often would have too many seeds or be too mushy. The Avial was aromatic and authentic. I then went again for their lunch buffet. There was a decent variety and they had a variety of curries, sambar, dosa, idli, masala chai, etc.

    90/100

  5. I usually go to this place when I am starving and craving for a good South Indian breakfast. They have an excellent breakfast buffet on the weekends for $9.99 from 7am to 11am. They serve upma, pongal, idlis, puris and aaloo, sambar, 5 types of chutneys, three types of dosas, vadas and jalebis along with coffee and tea.
The place is clean and the price is reasonable. The food is quite tasty and well prepared. The staff is courteous and polite and the service is quick. I love the stainless steel utensils, reminds me of home.
I do see a lot of unhappy reviews but mine is based on my 4 trips this month for their weekend breakfast buffet.

  6. Ordered lunch from here . The delivery took around 30 mins(didnt expect them to be that fast).I had ordered the north indian and south indian thali. The pongal in the South Indian thali was amazing(even though it seemed to be dripping with ghee). Most of the curries in the thali were really tasty.Guess it was one of the very few times I felt happy to eat veg food.Definitely a must try!

  7. Went here for dinner and without a doubt the best thing we got was the deep fried curry cauliflower. It was very flavorful and crispy and just had a nice colorful presentation. Sadly this was high point for this visit. I thought I'd be a little adventurous with what I ordered so I went for the 'pongal' which was lentils, rice, curry leaves, and cashews which I didn't really taste.  The pongal was filling but it had like no taste, even with the little sauces they provided it still was blah. I ate about a 3rd of it and just got bored of it. It didn't taste bad, just bland. I had some of the channa masala – chickpeas and rice which is kind of a staple at these kinds of resturants but it was good, and should've went with that.  The resturant was a nice size, mostly indian families with small children. Bright and lots of servers all of whom will help you so it didn't appear to be assigned waiters. They did an ok job too, one server asked about the meal and I gave him my honest opinion as written here. The other kicker here is that it is minimum of $20 on card payment which is not as bad as the dreaded cash only, but its enough to drop a star. So if you like vegetarian based indian food I'd say its ok, they seem to really cater to large groups ans families with many deals.

  8. Not the best South Indian food. I went on a Tuesday night for their dinner buffet
I thought they would've had more dishes in the buffet but they did not. The cool part definitely was the dosa guy making the dosas in front of you. But even then, I've had better dosas.
I guess you can't expect much for a $12 buffet.
