  1. I was happy to see that this restaurant was open since I love new additions to the neighborhood. I went for lunch and there were a few people there, the place Isn't big but the decor it's nice.
they gave us some complimentary bread with a roasted tomato spread that was delicious.
I started with the beets and goat cheese salad which was decent. Then I had the chicken Zio Luigi and it was delicious. The portions are huge but you can tell the quality of the food is great.
The owner who was also our waiter was super nice and attentive.
I will come back to try their home made pastas.

  2. I'm really confused by all the five star reviews. Went here last night with a small group. We brought a couple bottles of wine since it's BYOB. It was nice that they let me know that when making the reservation.

The food was… fine? I mean, the bets thing I'll say about them is that it was decent for the money.

We started with a few orders of meatballs and calamari. Calamari was generic, and the meatballs were okay, lacking in a decent sauce though.

For entrees, we had eggplant, lamb, chicken zio luigi, and veal scallopini. It was all only ok. Portions were a bit on the smaller side.

The place itself is tiny, but they do a good job of not having everyone on top of each other.

Can't really recommend the place. I'll stick to Dazie's for now.

  3. The place was very generic. I think it was a tad bit overpriced for the portions it offered. The service was very attentive, like they place the napkins on your lap fancy.

Polenta- pan seared. Very creamy and flavorful.

Squid ink pasta with shrimp- I loved that the sauce was fradiavolo but the pasta was a tad bit too soft. I liked mines to be al-dente. It came with 5 very big shimp which were cooked very well.
