With all due respect to the other reviewer, this is not a one star place! I would probably give it a 3.5, or a 3.0, but I'm going with 4.0 because I want to counterbalance the 1.0 a bit.
The good: extremely flavorful dishes that are well-seasoned. Menu highlights are the biryani, the vegetable samosas, and the chai. All of those things are hands down outstanding and extremely well-priced. (The biryani is a bit more – $9 for a portion, but the chai is $1 and the samosas are maybe $1.50 each. WOW!) Please note that some of the biryani has bone in it, so use caution when ordering if that is a big con for you.
The bad: the food is kept in a "hot" buffet table near the register, but all orders are microwaved before being served. This means that getting your food can take FOREVER and that some dishes are not fully warmed through. Also, the tandoori items dry out like crazy when reheated. Which is, obviously, a turn off. Some of the dishes are also really oily, which means that after eating, you feel full in an oily way.
Conclusion: the prices are better than many other places that serve similar food, and the flavors are really good. With slightly faster service and food that is actually kept hot, it would be an amazing deal. As is, it is a pretty good deal. If you get the biryani, chai and samosa, you'll be a happy camper.
Give it a shot! It is better than that other reviewer gives it credit for!
