Kasai

“As an added feature, the hibachi chefs were hilariously interactive, squirting sake at the adults and water at the kids while cracking Asian infused jokes.”

“Perfect place for a family outing, We came with two little kids and they loved it, as did the adults.”

“The chef cooks the food with much showmanship such as lighting large fires, flipping knives, juggling fire, flipping food into diners mouths.”

  1. I deeply and sincerely thank Victor Ebadi, the owner, for bringing back Hibachi for the kosher consumer. This is a dining experience. It's a social, fun activity to do with people that are lighthearted, fun, and OPEN-MINDED. This isn't a kosher place to bring your uptight old kollel uncle and aunt to. The food is great, and the chefs are masters at their craft. Everything is what you'd expect from Hibachi, from the flaming onion volcano, to the little Hibachi boy doll who pisses on the fire to quench the flames, to the chef pouring sake down your mouth from a squeeze bottle. I also really loved it when the chefs flung the zucchini into my mouth; I made it on the second and fourth attempts. These guys have the shtick down to an art form! The flavors of everything were spot-on, and you can taste the sake and garlic margarine in the foods. I had the boneless prime rib eye steak, with clear fried rice and hibachi vegetables, and for an appetizer, I had a small salad with my favorite ginger dressing, and the beef negimaki, which were superbly flavored. I highly recommend this place, and look forward to coming back very soon!
