  1. This is one of the repeat restaurants my family likes to go to for special occasions. Every time I go I make the mistake of ordering the same thing! The antipasti is always good, whether it be salad, calamari, eggplant rollatini, etc… It's always delish. I got the boned chicken with sausage and peppers. I'm not a fan of how they cook the chicken–cut apart into little boned pieces. I think it just bothers me a bit. the dish has a great taste with the peppers and seasonings.

I just think next time I'll try one of their other very tasty dishes.

  2. I came here with my husband for his birthday, its an amazing + beautiful place! The service is flawless and the food- perfection! They are very attentive when you get up someone is behind you to pull the chair out and fold your napkin. I felt so royal lol. Its a beautiful place. After dinner they told us we can go to the lounge area and have a drink with an acoustic player playing. It was so relaxing.

Our waited was really good he held on a convo with us. It was a great surprise for my husband. The birthday cake was so fun– it had a sparkling candle! The bill came with a personalized card from our waiter. This is the best service I've ever seen!

  3. I went for dinner and cocktails . Loved everything ! The service was excellent ! Food was delicious and ingredients tasted fresh! The decor was very nice.  I loved the roof top bar / lounge as well! Very cool! At first.. I was forgetting that I was still in queens! Ambience was exquisite !!!!

  4. Pretty nice catering hall. The decor was beautiful. We had a children's party in the wine cellar room which had exposed beams, large wine racks and storage behind glass but arranged like a 5th avenue window during the holidays. Very warm and rustic feel. The building itself is position right on the water with great southern views although it was a rainy day when I was there. They had some nice charcuterie & cheese plates set up on heavy cutting blocks, the food, drinks were all great I suppose they very depending on who's organizing the party so I have no insight on prices, but the food was great and tasty. But based on the atmosphere of the room we had for the party I would definitely consider it for a vent. Beautifully designed and decorated. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Very concerned with customer satisfaction.

  5. This review is for the Rv rooftop and not vetro. The rooftop is very nice and it exudes a classy feel. I went on a Saturday night at 2am. Crowd wasn't busy and those that were there already had a long time buzz coming. Drink prices were like going to the city. The elevator doesn't go up after late hours so you need to trek up three floors. It was the grand opening for the rooftop. Not really sure how it was earlier but the setup and the ambiance was very nice. As it gets warmer I see this place becoming more popular. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive.  They also had nice uniforms to go with the overall look of the place. Be ready to pay $24 for two drinks at minimum. Like I said city prices. But comes with a view and valet parking. The dj also played great music, mix from 90's to current top hits. There was bottle service and the crowd was mixed. I would say the range was from late 20's to late 50's. I presume folks having dinner at vetro have made their way there after dinner. I have yet to try vetro but will update my review once that happens.

  6. I came here for the first time at the request of my friend. There were about seven of us. We ate outdoors overlooking the water. Some of us had ordered the tuna and others the octupus, as well as various other appetizers, all were very good.  There was a perfect summer breeze and I was taking in the simple elegance of the surrounding  atmosphere. Also, the waiters were very accomodating and patient considering we were pretty distracted by our conversation.
Afterwards, we went upstairs to the rooftop bar and lounge. There was a  DJ playing a dancable mixture of R&B, a little hip hop. He mixed it up nicely. Different nights have different music from what I understand.  Its a big open, airy bar,  a decent size dance floor and tables all around.  Overall, its a fun place to enjoy with your crew. I would recommend it and will probably return on a different night.Valet parking was a bonus but the drinks on rooftop were a little pricey, not that it stopped anyone.

  7. My husbands company always has there end of the year party here, honestly the place is beautiful and the staff provide excellent service. The negatives here are that the signage is awful at night (if you miss the turn your going over the bridge). The actual entree's are never prepared that well. I understand that serving a large party of 100 guests at once can be a very daunting task for any chef, but when your charging $$$ per person you wouldn't want to receive uncooked potatoes on your plate.

  8. Beautiful catering hall. We went to a children's birthday party which was held in the cellar. The wine cellar looked like what you see in the wine country. It looked like it was preserving a tradition; One that defined a culture of epicureans and connoisseurs.       I enjoyed the whole ambiance of dining in a perfect setting.

The birthday party hosted an array of delicious food: The zucchini fries tasted like heaven. The mozzarella sticks tasted amazing. Of course, I took advantage of the free sodas at the bar at the event.

The decor looked classic. Very elegant. Definitely a conversation starter – especially for those who love history. When we sat at the lounge upstairs, the fancy furniture felt comfortable.

This wait staff went above and beyond customer service. I found them polite, helpful and generous with their time.

I would definitely recommend this place for an event.
