Miracali Bakery

“I have come here in various occasions to eat the pan de bonos and the buñuelos and they are definitely the BEST in NYC.”

“And they also have this very interesting Colombian-only sort of pudding that looks like dulche de leche but much darker in color.”

“As a matter of fact, there are no "tables", it's a window counter with stools but it smells divine in there!”

  1. I walked in today after randomly leaving work surprisingly early!  Life is good!  I ordered a large hot coffee for $2 and walked out with a stack of napkins.  I noticed that there were two stools unoccupied, but I couldn't stay, since I needed to run an errand afterwards.  The lady at the counter spoke English and Spanish.  (I tried to speak Spanish & she responded in English–I guess I need to work on my pronunciation?)  Nevertheless, there was a gentleman who was approaching the line the same time I did, and he let me go first–what a gentleman!  It just made my day!  There are still awesome people with manners in the world!  Meanwhile, the line was fast, and the smell of coffee was intoxicating.  I was practically skipping home in the rain.  I might just try their baked goods someday!  🙂  I am definitely coming back!
