I have no idea why the first reviewer categorized Angel's as "Mexican". You can get only just a few Mexican items: tacos, quesadillas & enchiladas. No guacamole, burritos, etc.
The GOOD STUFF at Angel's is the LATIN AMERICAN fare: pernil, mofongo, arroz y gandules, tostones/maduros… oxtail, tripe, goat, bacalao, pig feet… all with a homemade taste. They sell a lot of rotisserie chicken, which you can see and smell cooking through the glass doors of vertical ovens… yum!
The prices are very reasonable. The place is clean. The ambiance is takeout although there is wait service at the tables.
