I loved it here!
It is pretty 'hole in the wall' and the yelp map doesn't show the location accurately…we had to circle back after we had passed the place.
They have regular coca cola only
The food was great, I honestly ordered two random things. the first thing i pointed to on the menu, asking what it was, the owner/waitress just shook her head no and made a face…meaning it probably wasn't good! We had a kimchi/tofu thing and a bimbibap (pork). Some koreans were eating the black fish that they also make a soup out of (the bones) for you while you are waiting. They have some Korean rice wines but its also BYOB…byo soda if i were you!
Sleepy is definitely a good way to describe this place if you can find it. No frills. Good food.
9 tables with very little to no decor for any reason whatsoever with a huge mirror staring at you. No music. Definitely dated and kind of dingy. Not a 1st date destination.
I luv me self some spicy and baby, be prepared for some zing. The squid oh the squid. With mixed vegetables in a spicy sauce was out of this world especially at $9 with an average size portion. They leave the vegetables kind of crispy which I thought was absolutely brilliant and fun to eat obviously fresh. I noticed many traditional Korean dishes upon the menu all priced well. No accompanied soup? No tea available at all? WTF?
No English so be prepared to point clearly.
After one visit I'm struggling with a 4 rating for food sakes alone, but with everything else considered I will have to give them a strong 3 at this time reserving my right until the next visit.
Had an urge for Korean and stopped here. Excellent bulgogi and very good galbi. The kimchee was also one of the best. Very small place…more like someone's house. The beginning appetizing dishes were a bit of a disappointment- and those are my favorites!
