stopped in for lunch recently and was pleasantly surprised. we had the chicken and mushroom boiled dumpling, not bad but not memorable. the spicy offal with chili oil – so good. the twice cooked pork which came with rice – really one of the best ive had. popcorn chicken was fine, a bit more flavor or a dipping sauce is needed to fine tune. overall the operation and the tabling / setup seems like theyre still finalizing things but the food is good and cheap enough to come back for. they seem to be a dumpling / szechuan mix right now. there were also a bunch of flies hanging around the register which was so unappetizing but surprisingly none by the eating tables.
They're ok. I really liked the basil chicken dumplings. They're the only dumplings you should get here. The pork was just alright.
The tendon noodles were good too, but very salty. They sure give you lots of noodles. You have a choice of mei fun, ho fun, all different noodles.
Lots of seating!
