“As for the mechanical bull, if anyone on here says they DON'T enjoy watching people fall or get tossed off, you're lying.”
“My only compliant might be that the waiter offered us guacamole with the chips but did not let us know that it was $10 (Which was not that good.”
“They do have a DJ who controls the scene for the bull riding, I have done it in the past but my bull riding days are behind me as I fear getting hurt now that Im 30+ lol.”

Had a great time here for a friend's birthday. They were a little short staffed. We still had fun and the drinks were good. We had a fun time watching people fall off the bull. It's a lot harder when you have liquor in your system. So if you want to ride it like wonder woman do it before drink number too. Also, note everyone will be watching because there is only one bull.
They can improve on a lot of things especially because upstairs is so big.
The food was better than typical bar food.
I went to meet a friend and her coworkers for happy hour. The specials were nothing to write home about. $5 draft beers would never bring me in but $5 mojitos definitely caught my interest until I realized that they were the frozen machine type and tasted a bit like menthol, meh. My friend wanted to get a table because there were about 10 of us or so. The hostess told her that we could only be seated if everyone in the party agreed to order food. For me this was personally a turn off and I wouldn't have stayed even though I was hungry on the principal of that. However, we agreed and dined. The food was rather good, I must say, but way over-priced for the small plate service in which they specialized. Tapas. Entrees were upwards of $18 for simple things. I ate light with the steak quesadillas that were $12 for just cheese and an additional $2 for meat. Everyone seemed pleased with the flavor of their various meals. I needed to leave early and had to ask at least 2 different servers for my portion of the bill about 4 or 5 (had a couple drinks) separate times. They never brought it and I just ended up leaving my money with a friend and walking out.
In short, DON'T come for their lame happy hour. DO come for a tasty Latin meal if you've got extra money to waste on overpriced dishes and subpar service.
I came here for a date with my hubby. I heard of this place from the spanish radio stations and i wanted to try it. I was also excited by the fact they have a mechanical bull. I made a reservation for 2 at 9:00 PM. We walk in and you first walk into a bar area. It is a very tight space and the music was very loud. We sat down and a server came right away. He was very polite and nice. However, i did not get his name. My hubby and I ordered the chicken quesadillas. They were affordable, good and came out fast. The big negative about this place was the music was so damn loud. I understand it turns into a club at night but however it was just too loud. Especially since the club doesnt open until 11. My hubby got on the bull which was only $5 and it was a great experience. He enjoyed the bull and i enjoyed watching him. Lol…overall 3 stars.
Came here this past Friday was invited for a friends Birthday.
It seems that this place is a restaurant during the day & a lounge / club later on.
Decent size place they have a bar below , DJ area, plenty of seating upstairs & the mechanical bull plus another small bar upstairs but seems like this one was for bottle services only.
My friend had some sort of birthday package 2 bottles plus u got the champagne for free & this apparently included the bull … But we came to find out later the bull was not included kind of annoying if u are looking to ride the bull but the more disappointing part is that they charge to ride the bull if I recall I think my friend said it was $55 !!!! That's just crazy & highly overpriced needless to say none of us rode it & by the looks of the night that bull just sat there all sad & lonely.
Once settled we chilled in our area , dance & had a pretty decent time which ironically enough u are not supposed to "dance" what idiot came up w that bright idea & actually put up sign for "No Dancing" clearly no one follows this & the fact they even put a sign up is good for a laugh at the very least.
They offer Hooka if u like that , we had one for our party.
After the bottles were done, we ended up grabbing a few drinks at the bar $10 for Vodka & Cranberry not bad the drink was nice & strong.
Music was not bad , a bit all over the place but they played a decent variety which for me is always a plus.
Service was good they seem to stay on top of the bottle service , at the bar was good as well.
We had a good time , maybe I'll come back one day & try the food.
This was one of my stops on my bar hoppybirthday!
I ordered a Mojito and it was so weak that I decided to switch up and have a Margarita on the Rocks it was equally weak. The place was empty and the service was definitely lackluster.
I decided to leave and hit the German bar next door I just know I could not go wring with a great IPA..
Came here because I was forced for a friends Bday. The food was meh and expensive for small portions. The sangria was nasty, very watered down. My other friend and I only had quesadillas. They were decent tasting but again small portions and expensive. As soon as we were done they cleared the tables. The crowd is OK although the guys there seem kinda of "thirsty". I mean really, Dude haven't you ever seen a group of girls before?
To sum this up…for Mexican I'm sticking to the taco spot on Wycoff(check my reviews). And this place as "a lounge"…too over crowded.
Had dinner here on a Friday night and didn't realize this place turns into a club or something with loud music, non stop announcements by the DJ, and an interesting crowd.
Got the guacamole and a combo plate with shrimp, carne asada, and plantains. Also had a cadillac margarita to take part in the "fiesta".
The food was decent and the drink was average. A little pricey for what it is.
Don't think I will be back though, a bit touristy.
I have been to this place for both dinner and just for dancing on a friday night. As for food i must say I enjoyed it but would not say that I was super crazy about it. For appetizers I had the Rellenitos and Guacamole. They were both very good and probably my favorite so far. As my entree I had the Sautéed Chicken Fajitas. I was almost full from the appetizers that I didn't eat all my entree but was able to take it home with me. When it turns to a lounge it is very good atmosphere. When I was there they were playing spanish music and had the bull where you have a choice to purchase a ticket to ride it. This is very fun especially after having a few drinks. I would definitely go back in the future at night.
