  1. Going keep this one short and sweet – authentic, family style place that has pretty awesome tacos (that's all I had here).  Good service – the place itself basic and not too big.  But I think a lot of people end up doing take out, so you may be able to score a seat.  Pretty quick turnaround and reasonable prices.  Nice place to grab some simple but tasty food.

  2. A hole-in-the-wall joint with food that is less than sub-par. Yelp, you let me down here, although I should have looked at the burrito reviews here before I ordered. I think this was one of the worst burritos I have ever had – a cold store bought tortilla and carnitas with no flavor and served cold. It is utterly appalling that they would serve a tortilla like that to customers at an authentic Mexican joint.  I don't know how this place has 4 stars.

  3. The absolute best tacos around even surrounded by a million options. It was a hidden gem.. but it seems like the cats out of the bag!

Al pastor are the best ones I've ever had!

  4. You know youdonefckedup telling me about this place right?

Most mexican spots around Bushwick/Wiliiamsburg I wouldn't touch, but this chick Sofia here is official. The only thing is their onions are mad potent! Had my whole crib smelling like you wanna cry. It's good to find food gems like this in the neighborhood. Take your grub to-go, you don't wanna risk them not getting the order right over the phone. Shredded Pork ftw.

  5. Ordered for delivery over the phone because seamless wasn't working at the moment and boy what a mistake that was. The girl who answered the phone barely understood English and even when I spoke to her in Spanish she kept messing up our order. There were awkward gaps of silence – where I was like HELLO? Did you get that last one? She'll pause and then finally answer. She was clearly distracted. After a gruesome 10-15 mins of ordering like 10 different items, we finally completed our order. ETA was about 30-40 mins. 1 hour goes by and they were closing in 5 minutes. When I called the same girl was dazed and confused once again but managed to get a hold of the delivery guy – who was 10 mins away. Delivery was delayed because he was out on another delivery and they had to wait for him to return.

At last, our food arrived. Here's the outcome of what I tried:
Al pastor tacos – their best tacos, deliciously juicy and flavorful.
Chicken tinga tostadas – spicy shredded chicken on a crispy tortilla. So good.
Cheese quesadilla – while very large (two people can split in half), the corn tortilla and sour cheese didn't go well.

Some dishes were good, some were OK – so I'm torn about this place. The phone service was really just a mess, though. She was nice but so distracted and confused.
