  1. Went for dinner. Food was okay. Service was good, drinks had a heavy pour.

Worth a go if you're a local but otherwise wouldn't travel to go there. Cute inside.

  2. Tried the Cuban sandwich for lunch. The bread was fresh but really it was just dressed up ham and cheese sandwich. No sides. Good enough to eat for lunch but not particularly noteworthy. My friend ordered the eggs benedict. I didn't try it, but visually the presentation was nothing special.   The server was nice but virtually non-existent.  Pretty much had to ask for everything and ended up just getting up to pay at the bar because he never came back to check on us or give us the opportunity to ask for the check.  I don't plan on eating a sit down meal here again. I might consider giving it a second try for happy hour. Maybe, maybe not.

    The ambiance was nice.

  3. Happy Hour from Monday – Friday from 4-7PM. Their sangrias, margaritas, and well drinks (along with a couple beers) are only $5. I had two (pretty strong) whisky sours and I was buzzed. They don't hold back on their alcohol.

It has a dark atmosphere, so don't expect to see too much of your company's face. I wish there was a little more light, but if that's kind of the mood you're looking for, this place is perfect. It's also a lot smaller than I expected, but that might also be because Capital One was in there taking up 2/3 of the bar, so who knows.

My coworkers and I also ordered a couple of tapas. The fried artichoke, while an interesting concept and taste, was far too tough and chewy for me to enjoy thoroughly. The artichoke hearts were fine, but the outer layer was too rough to really swallow. The truffle fries were much better, though I have a hard time distinguishing whether that was my palate or the alcohol judging the food.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience here and would definitely be up for coming back.

  4. Came here for AYCD brunch. Its only for an hour which kinda sucks becuase most other places in the city are for at least an hour and a half. The drinks were strong at least. Mostly everyone in the group got the panino and enjoyed it but it was small and we were all hungry not to long after brunch. I think for $21 for an hour they could add a little more to the meal.
Wasnt impressed by the ricotta donuts.

Our waitress was really nice and took care of us which is why i was surprised that she added on 3 drinks to our bill that must have been after the hour had passed with out letting us know. The manager took it off when we mentioned it though which was nice.

I think as much as i enjoyed this place i dont think i would return for brunch.

  5. Great happy hour place! Not much on the menu, great sangria. There are no gluten free options 🙁

  6. Headed over here after a long day of work at Mt. Sinai (about a 4 block walk). The menu is limited and to be honest, not much appealed to me on my first read though. Ultimately settled for the braised beef sandwich and it was mediocre — something I could have made better at home using a crockpot. Table also had the hummus and fried asparagus — hummus was meh but asparagus was a winner.

We opted for the Happy Hour specials ($5 red sangria, pinot grigio, some kind of red wine, and margarita). Not a wine connoseiur but it was a really crappy brand of white — stick to the red!

  7. 3.5 Good place to go to Happy Hour after work, and there aren't a whole lot of places in the area so it works well. Good happy hour deals and last time the server nicely let our friend who got there right after it ended get a happy hour wine. I haven't had the food yet, but I am glad it is in the neighborhood!

  8. We stopped here for some quick drinks and lite food before we headed out to the museum mile festival. It's a small restaurant/lounge spot.  Most of my friends ordered the sangria with red wine that they said was good.  I was hungry and didn't want any alcohol. LOL, I'm not a big drinker and food comes before any cocktails in my book. The menu was extremely limited and I really wasn't that excited about the options.  I settled for a burger that was actually very juicy and tasty. I tried some of my friends truffle fries and was happy I didn't order them. I didn't like the sauce it came with and the taste just didnt do it for me. If I return I would make sure I ate first and just enjoy my company over some drinks.
