Nice brunch spot in the UWS. Have the rose sangria bottomless. Affogato was amazing we ordered two.
Went here for the first time tonight for happy hour. It's such a cute place with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The waitstaff was super friendly and the deals were awesome.
I got a large sized personal pizza and two glasses of wine; all $5 each. The waiters were v knowledgable and had excellent wine and pairing recommendations.
Awesome UWS affordable wine bar. I will definitely be back.
Sit at the bar and indulge in one of the best UWS Happy Hours! $5 pizza, half price wine/beer, $1 meatballs. Need I say more? Okay, I will.
Yes, the food you get is delicious. They don't skimp on quality just because it is happy hour. The service is friendly and bubbly. Warm ambiance with brick walls and candle light. Would make a great casual date place.
OC is conveniently located between work and home for me, so the Happy Hour is what usually brings me here, although I'm curious about brunch after reading all of the great reviews.
I've been here multiple times over the past few years. This review is from my most recent visit – I came here last night for dinner with my boyfriend. We ordered the olives to start. I ordered the vegetable pizza and my boyfriend ordered the short ribs. They give some bread and olive oil to start. I wish they gave more bread when we finished ours because I was famished but thankfully the food came quickly. The olives were terrible. I've never tasted such bad olives. We only ate a couple because it was intolerable. Anyways, the pizza was amazing. It's a perfect size. My boyfriend really enjoyed the ribs and polenta. The service is great. Overall 4 stars. (Brought down because of the olives). I absolutely love this place so I will absolutely return but I'm never ordering the olives again.
Came in for a drink this evening. Had a glass of beer with margarita pizza. Excellent ambience. Outdoor seating also available with heating. We decided to sit outside. Courteous staff. Pizza is delicious! I used the yelp check in deal- $5 for a pizza!! Pretty good!! Drinks selection esp wines is great. Coming here again! Recommend!!!!!
The food was good. Service was also good. The ny strip was great. The butternut ravioli was good but room temperature making it not great.
We came here for brunch on a spring Sunday around 12:30pm. This place has great outdoor seating with excellent people watching.
The service was relatively quick and friendly. We ordered unlimited brunch drinks and the server was very generous with our refills, always offering refills before we even finished the current beverage. You could easily find yourself drinking a LOT here if you aren't careful. Haha. $26 for an entrée with unlimited brunch beverages is a pretty good deal for the UWS.
I ordered the breakfast pizza. It was surprisingly HUGE, around 14" in diameter I would guess. It had plenty of eggs, prosciutto, tomatoes, cheese, etc. The crust was a little soggy, but overall it was pretty good.
My husband ordered the polenta with sausage. Apparently it was so good that for the past few weeks he's been trying to replicate the recipe at home (although he says it hasn't yet come close to Osteria Cotta).
Overall, this is a great place for a fun brunch with huge portions and generous beverages.
This awesome spot is located a stones through away from Central Park. We visited for Ryan's sister's 30th, there were about 20 people all together so they decided to do the price fix menu, 35 a head w/ unlimited mimosas and sangria and a choice of 5 plates from the preselected menu. The rice balls were off the chain. We also got pizza, chicken skewers and French toast, eggs hollandaise and then dessert which was the Nutella calzone. Everything was phenomenal except the chicken skewers. They smelt like old people and were a bit bland. They Nutella calzone was out of this world, and at one point there was hollandaise and yolk on my pizza… Try it. The service was okay, big tables sometimes lose out on that personal attention but it wasn't awful. The decor was amazing, comfy and cozy, very romantic. Can't wait to come back with Ryan and see what else they have to offer.
