I love their lunch specials that are served all day long. Their lunch plates come with rice, beans, maduro and a choice of entree. Their lunch special is all served in one plate, or one aluminum takeout container, sorta like a blue plate special.
If you order from the regular menu and not the lunch menu, the portions are bigger and costs more. Your order from the menu will consist of a whole plate or aluminum takeout of rice, a separate plate or takeout container of the entree, a side box of maduro, a side box of beans unless you order the arroz con gandules, where the beans are already in the rice, and salad. It's so much food that you can feed 2-4 people unless you are super hungry.
I usually opt for the smaller lunch portion which lasts about 2 meals for me, or if I'm hungry, only 1.5 portions. I can never finish even the lunch portion in one sitting. It's just a lot of food.
I love Dominican food.
Grand opening and just as good as their Corona location. I recommend the grilled shrimp, came with a complimentary fish soup and of course my favorite chinola juice.
