“Overall the group had a blast and will definitely be back here to try the food and happy hour.”

“I'm from Astoria, so we have blocks upon blocks of hookah lounges – this was a trendy alternative to the ones I have been to.”

“The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the lounge was pretty tight which made it hard to dance at times.”

  1. Interesting little spot here…

This place is on basement level and it is not very big for all of the hoop la thats at the door. Nothing more annoying than the "clipboard guy" and no offense to anyone that is but they are usually not very nice! Anyway we were there for a birthday party and they told my friend that there were no more comps for guys meanwhile there was only 1 other guy in the group. But whatever.

I enjoyed the music the DJ was good. The crowd was nice looking but it was just too crowded. There was really nowhere to stand comfortably without continuously moving out of the way for people to get by. Another MAJOR CON was that there were hookahs everywhere. Now don't get me wrong I love hookah, but in a small space with limited ventilation its not cool. The worst part was the guy replacing the coal was walking around with a cast iron pan with all the burning coals on fire practically burning people in the crowd while trying to maneuver around everyone it was ridiculous!! I almost got burned several times and watched other people come centimeters from being burned as well. I knew whenever he was even remotely close to me before even seeing him because I would feel the burning heat. Very poor decision on managements behalf. Ive been to many hookah spots and there are safer ways to do that.

Ehh for this place. Wouldn't care to come back but not opposed to it either.

  2. This place has turned over quite a bit in the past 10 years, I suppose that's normal for NY….and in all of it's forms I have still gone to this location.  LOL

Went for a date night with my gal … we bought a Groupon.  It was worth it.  The food was good, on a scale of 1-10 it was a 5.  Nothing to write home about but it was NOT bad, I didn't end up sick on the floor, and there was SO MUCH food that we ended up having doggy bags.  So, it's not bad at all.

The service was good.  The decor is what it is, it's kind of tacky…lol BUT what's terrible is that this place is always a lounge and as a result it always is kind of gross.  It smells gross, the furniture is gross.  The bathroom stalls don't lock.

So, if I were to go back it would be for a drink … not food, the idea of eating in a place like this skeeves me lol BUT that was the only downside.  For me, personally, it was a big downside.  I'm sorry. 🙁

  3. Came for a work happy hour and they were very accommodating of our group as we grew & shrank in numbers (from 6 to 10 to 4). The DJ played an odd mix of songs going from Lady in Red to Snoop, but it certainly was a conversation starter. The hookah flavors were the usual (but how do they not have rose?!) and lasted longer than expected. The 2 for 1 cocktail deal is fantastic. Where else can one get two champagne cocktails for $14 in midtown? We had some appetizers as a group (colleagues liked the mozzarella sticks & wings) and I had the lamb sliders (very juicy).

On the whole it's not bad but it does have a bit of an identity crisis of is it a nightclub or is it a chill hookah lounge. Would go again for after work happy hour drinks.

  4. I came here for a random Happy hour 2 weeks ago. The vibe and the music was great! The crowd was late 20's to mid thirties professionals. The bartenders were nice and friendly.

The reason I gave it four stars was because of the lamb sliders and the fries. Those lamb sliders was soooooooo good!!!!!! If ever I re-visit I will definitely try the sliders again. Oh yea….the drinks were good too. I ordered a white sangria and it was made correctly.

  5. 3.5 stars.

Beautiful decor & space. I can only speak for the drinks & hookah, maybe one day I will update with a review of the food.

A girlfriend and I stopped in late on a Wednesday night. We were in the mood for hookah and drinks, so decided on the blue mist? And a small mojito pitcher. The pitcher was $28 (cocktails were around $14 each) it was a little too sweet for my taste. Hookahs ranged from $30-$45. Our coal was replenished frequently, which is always nice. Minimal beer selection- I think maybe four to choose from? I'm from Astoria, so we have blocks upon blocks of hookah lounges – this was a trendy alternative to the ones I have been to. Definitely would like to come back maybe even celebrate a birthday here. Mature crowd, not rowdy but not boring.

  6. Had a great time BECAUSE I was with my girls.

We came here for a friend of a friend's birthday party and actually ended up at another table. Fun Saturday night and a good way to take your mind off an anniversary.
The spot has a Morrocco themed design which was great and the bartender always remembered my drink "Club Soda with nothing in it!"
    The music was INTERESTING.
Very HIP HOP. You can tell it was a night for birthday parties due to the sheer amount of birthday sparklers going off.
I think the 3 of us were the whitest ones there but we got down to the music and left when the club/lounge closed.
This place is small and there are 2 bars side by side.

  7. Was here for a day party.  Had a fantastic time celebrating my friends' birthdays. The food was average – nothing spectacular.  We had bottled service. Our waitress was really nice. The only frustration was that it was difficult for me to use my phone – it doesn't matter which carrier you have, the reception sucks.

  8. I was looking for a place with hookah, drinks and good food with great a decor. This place has great drinks, great decor and basic food. I'd give this place 4 stars for the first two and for food I'd say a 3. The lamb didn't seem like it was cooked all the way. And the gratuity came on my bill automatically and it was just me on my tab! I couldn't find my server I had to ask random people for drinks and flatware. She was hiding in a corner by a podium.
