I didn't choose this place, my mom & I were visiting a friend in hospital and decided to ask my brother to meet at a restaurant so he said to meet here. Before entering I always look for grade and it disturbed me that the grade was pending. I almost wanted to say let's go somewhere else but as we looked in window we saw by surprise other family members eating and they were excited to see us. So we all sat together at one big table. My cousins reported they are regulars here and food is great. Like any good Italian family they had tons of appetizers on table and they were pretty much putting every plate in front of us to eat. I can't rave about anything it was okay. Grilled shrimp, fried calamari, and some other type of shrimp with asparagus salad they were all okay but not extraordinary. The foccacia was very good. So I order linguine in white clams sauce, I really had a craving. My cousin was all lit up saying you picked the best dish, it's my favorite, you'll love it. Well, I was disappointed. I first was visually disappointed there were no fresh clams in the shell on presentation. Then after a few mouth fulls I said this is no good and asked my cousin who raved about it to try and to tell me if this was the norm. He agreed and said something was off about it. I was encouraged to ask for return, before I did ask my cousin spoke to the waiter and I was told I could order a different dish. I then ordered a pasta with eggplant and ricotta sollata. It was very good. Overall I was not pleased and probably will not return.

Eggplant rollatini app for $6. Veal marsala w/ spaghetti for $9. OMG! The eggplant has just the right amount of succulent sauce with small soft chunks of tomato and the lightly breaded eggplant was perfect along with just enough ricotta and mozzarella to keep me wanting more. The veal was pressed thin I thought it was going to dissolve in my mouth the spaghetti was cooked perfectly al dente while the mushrooms did an amazing tongue dance and the sauce was divine.
I could hardly wait to recommend this to my yelp friends. The only problem that I see is a need for more home made bread to soak up both the gravy's. Great service and I can't wait to come back.
