La Casa Del Sabor is a nice place for Latin American comfort food. My companions enjoyed their chicken, roast pork, and rice & beans, and I (a vegan) was very happy with my salad with avocado, and veggie mofongo. The restaurant is extremely clean, including the restrooms. Prices are reasonable. Here's a plus: by patronizing the restaurant, you'll help the owner support his other venture, New Beginning Animal Rescue, the only no-kill shelter in the Bronx.
