The food is very tasty, the service is great. They don't speak much english but the effort is great. I speak basic spanish so they get my drift. Back to the food..everything is as expected. Fried yuca and plantains are the best! This is my aunt and i dinner spot.
I have been coming here for years. The service is great, and I'm so happy that they deliver to my house! The workers and delivery people work hard, I always tip them well.
I've ordered numerous dishes from them and each one is delicious.
Dishes and sides I've ordered:
– beef empanadas
– bandeja montañera – country platter with rice, beans, grilled steak, pork skins, egg, avocado, sweet plantain, corn cake.
– chicharon – porn skin
– pechuga de pollo empanizada – breaded chicken breast with rice, beans, salad, sweet plantain
– maduros – sweet plantain
– manzana soda
Not once have I ever been disappointed. Currently, i dont have pix, but I will post when I eat from them again.
I do highly recommend this place. One of the best Colombian spots in Jamaica, Queens
I've only come here for breakfast because it's the best meal of the day! My favorite dish is the scrambled eggs with rice and arepas. Try it with the mildly spicy/sweet sauce given at the table. I will call it breakfast salsa! It gives an extra kick and flavor to the dish. You can also get a side dish of the plantains and breakfast is served!
I've been wanting to try the fresh fruit shakes here for a while, but whenever I come, I have hot chocolate on my mind. It tastes like the real cacao beans. I always go for seconds…
My only complaint is that I wish they opened earlier on the weekends 🙁
I've eaten here on countless occasions and the food is consistently delicious. Granted I only get one thing, the mountain platter. It comes with chicharron, a fried egg, avocado, beans and rice, skirt steak and a corn cake. The green sauce that comes with it is really good and is a nice compliment to everything. I always get extra chicharron to take home because i like to eat :D!
