Haven't been here in a while, came in to try the sweets: pistachio, walnut and sweet cheese baklava as well as the malabiya, which is usually my favorite. The baklavas were pretty good, but the malabiya needed to be sweeter, creamier and more fragrant with the wonderful smell of rose water. I also had the lamb chops, which smelled fantastic and according to the picture on the wall for $12.99 I thought they'd be succulent grilled pieces of meat but they were small, thin and over done pieces, which made them tough and dry. The 3 chops are served on rice which was seasoned well but needed a sauce or something to help with the dryness of the dish.
Everytime I come in here the man behind the counter is super nice and I really wish I could like the food but I haven't really enjoyed the dishes I've tried even though I love Arabic food, also I still can't get over the taste of that strong over powering olive oil they use in the salad as well as the hummus.
Pretty good falafel sandwiches for $4. Good deal, and you can add spicy fries and a drink for a couple bucks more.
I mostly come here for their lamb and hummus + pita meal, which is really delicious! The workers are all super friendly and accommodating. I've probably eaten here at least 20 times since I worked nearby, haha.
