The best Turkish kitchen in Cliffside hands down. This is my favorite spot for a meal, dessert and coffee.
The meat is cooked and delivered to the table in a short amount of time but always cooked very well. The meat is soft, never dry, seasoned perfectly.
The lettuce and onion salad is a surprisingly good compliment to the dish for such a simple thing. The rice is always delicious as well. The Cacik has more dill than others and you will taste the difference in flavor.
Kazandibi is my favorite when from here. Light and creamy, almost like water with very subtle flavor. Coffee is delicious here as well.
Service is by far better than any other place in town. The atmosphere is very low key casual. It's a neighborhood stop with no frills or gimmicks.
Come here for a dinner alone or with a friend, with family, really this place is good for any occasion that has to do with good food. 5/5 everything.
I got the Adana wrap, felt obligated because I've actually been to Adana in Turkey. Maybe it was of how late it was but I didn't find the food to be all that spectacular. The meat was slightly dry and and the overall meal was very mediocre. On a positive note the humus was very good and I would say this place probably deserves another shot just on the basis of the friendly wait staff.
