“I always have a great time at Benny's, and any Blockheads I've ever been to too, so I won't stop coming back,”

“The frozen margs ($3 regular, $4 flavored..coconut is my fav) are ridiculously strong and cheap, which for a college student is ALWAYS good.”

  1. I must say, I've never had a margarita until I came here – and now, it's my new go-to drink!  I guess it's not my place to say whether or not they were actually the best margaritas made, right? Either way, it has me hooked!

The food was good, as well as the service.. And PRICES! (That's always a big factor to me)

The only thing I didn't like about this place, the bathroom was pretty disgusting, and the place is tiny.  I came with a group of 10, not near enough space for us – but somehow they made it work.

  2. Oh my God. You guys. This place is AMAZING.

So it's a little hole in the wall in the Village and I adore it entirely. I went here after my internship meeting with a friend since she suggested it and I was highly OK with this.

First of all, $5 frozen margaritas. They packed a giant punch to say the least. I got a regular lime one and it was so delicious and refreshing on this hot September day.  After 3 of them I was delirious to say the least.

As for the food, I had the nachos grande and they were delicious. There must've been a whole avocado baked into it because there was SO MUCH guacamole! It was covered in that, beans, cheese, and peppers. It was delicious and definitely a nice snack to have when you're 3 margaritas in.

Overall, I adored this little place. It was seat yourself kinda deal and the place was very cute. The servers were very friendly and struck up conversation with us. Definitely a spot to check out.

  3. Per usual, I had a good time here.

This is the third time I've been to this location (sister property of Blockheads). Same amazing drinks and same food. My only real peeve with the Blockheads brand is the lack of variety on their menus. It's easy to get the exact same thing, or slight variation of what you normally get, when yo come here.

The drinks are amazing! $6 for a small frozen margarita plus $1 with an added flavor. A large runs at $8 plus $1 for a flavor, which they have a lot to choose from. I honestly believe the awesome margaritas are what keep the franchise running.

We came during the brunch hour on a Saturday (Brunch on the weekends is 11am-5pm), where all meals include a lunch size margarita (usually $3) for a total of $11.95. I had the rice and beans with melted jack cheese and a passion fruit lunch size margarita. The meal was pretty delicious.

The waitress was attentive and did not rush us out. Always a plus when you are comfortable and have a lot to catch up on with friends. This is my go-to place when I want a good cheaply priced drink and a San-Francisco style meal to supplement it.

I'll surely be back soon 🙂

  4. Excellent spot for quick and relatively inexpensive (depending on what you get) Mexican food in a casual, fun setting. Conveniently located right on Greenwich Ave!

It gets pretty crowded pretty quickly (jt's also not a large place), but there is a fun bar towards the back where you can hang out and get cheap, strong margaritas! Service is pretty standard, nothing special.

I loved the mushroom burrito. And the guac was delicious!

  5. fusion mexican.. local place with big portions and cheap.. Burrito with pork adobo was great.   they have a lot of other varieties

  6. Toasty and warm inside on a cool winter day! The burrito was stuffed full and will satisfy even the hungriest customer. Friendly service and a great meal deal for under 10 bucks. The bathroom has the smallest door I've seen in New York. Neighborhood and local feel, and I enjoyed the experience.

  7. Food was very meh. Felt like it was multiple versions of one thing. The quesadilla grande was just a flatter version of the burritos. Nothing stands out in my mind of even mentioning to be honest. I've had worse but definitely nothing memorable to come back to.

  8. I had a burrito and tried the Mac n cheese substation for rice. It was good! Fairly unique and I enjoyed the different texture. The salsa on the table was the right amount of spicy and our waiter was very prompt and friendly.
