Awesome butcher. I have tried many in the New York area and nothing compares to this place- their beef and lamb is fresh and the quality shows in the end product – tasty. It's a Turkish grocery store/butcher in Coney Island. It's so worth the drive from Long Island to stock up from this place. Store is clean. Have been going for at least 10 years and this place is consistent with their quality. I would, however, seek chicken elsewhere as their chickens tend to be on the larger size. Lamb and beef for everyday cooking- this is the place!
This is a nice little Middle Eastern store. I stopped in for a shawarma sandwich. It was very good. I didn't walk very far into the store, but I walked far enough in to notice a myriad of pastries and Turkish delights. There was baklava and sari burma; it seemed like there were generous allocations of pistachios and honey throughout.
I could easily see myself popping into this store on a weekly basis of I lived in the area.
