This place is a block from home, it's opened just 3 weeks ago and…. Needs some support! I am glad to be the first to review.
I like shrimps quesadilla and I was curious about their "diablito" version. As expected… It's spicy! A nice red sauce covers the 3 slices, so if you don't like it spicy or you are not sure yet, try to ask to have in on a side…
Liked it ! Tonight, it will be even better because I will make it crunchy on a non stick pan to reheat it and cheese will melt and come out and become crispy… Yum.
On the menu it's 9$ but on the board outside the restaurant (and on the bill) it was 7.50$ – Great
I am also a big fan of ribs and they have an appetizer version for 7$ which they serve with rice and beans.
It's a nice portion for an appetizer… 6 juicy ribs, almost a full lunch meal if you are not a bear.
3.5 stars for the ribs, 3 for the rice&beans.
The young Lady at the counter is very nice and friendly, oveall a nice experience so I will try it again.
Ps. I see on their menu many burritos, many tacos options… In general, they have a large choice. And prices look ok. Good Luck!
Pps. 3.5 would be my rating but because they need support (and there is still not the 1/2 star available) I am giving 4!
Awesome new place in an unlikely location off 4 th avenue and 16 th street. I've been on the hunt for authentic Mexican food since moving from Austin and this place has it! Carnitas tacos were so flavorful and fresh. Loved how the fresh lime juice and cilantro came together to enhance the well marinated pork. Also their homemade chips and spicy salsa really hit the spot. Ambiance was nice and clean and the restaurant was large. The owner is a young Mexican woman who is very friendly.
