There seems to be a boom of Japanese themed eateries in Flushing and this one is located in a building just slightly off Main Street. Restaurant decor is nice an clean (probably because it's new) and the menu is standard for a sushi restaurant.
Food was decent and fish was fresh the day I went. Portion size was good although I would say that the prices are slightly higher than neighboring establishments that serve similar things. My only gripe is that they have no lunch menu, which seems foolish to me. It's a good option if you're craving sushi in the area and want a nice comfortable area to sit.
Lunch review
Came here for lunch. Saw a board outside saying lunch starts at $9.50 so I asked for the lunch menu (which they didn't bother providing). Lunch menu is meh. We ordered the chirashi and the sashimi lunch. Both were pretty pathetic in portion though very fresh. We ordered the Truffle White Tuna on the full menu which was delicious.
I am still interested in trying their other menu items but I don't recommend having high hopes. They are on the expensive side.
