  1. Nothing better than some singas! Another newark ave classic. They have some locations around NJ including one in Edison. But, this location is the one that I grew up eating.

The crust is thin, the pies are always well sauced and cheesed. They aren't stingy with the toppings! My favorite is the classic onion and green peppers. Although the garlic pie is delicious too!

There's a decent amount of seating. Parking near this area is always a disaster. We always call ahead so it's ready when you arrive for either pick up or eat in.

  2. This is our go-to pizza delivery spot.  With the whole Buy 2 get1 (plain) free, you can easily feed a family of 5 for an unbeatable price.

    Some tips:
    – Pies are small, think approx 1 pie per person
    – Delivery takes a solid hour so if you're hungry, plan ahead
    – Sausage meat is nice and tender – try the sausage and onions!
    – Veggie special is a standout
    – You have to call to get the Buy 2 get 1, doesn't work on seamless

  3. My family can't get enough. I've been eating singas since I was little so You can call me a singas pro. I finally found my favorite topping combo- garlic and spinach. My second favorite would be pineapple and jalepenos with extra sauce!

Getting the extra sauce in the spinach and garlic make it too hard to eat so just beware.
Finding parking is very hard so just beware!

  4. Singas use to be my go-to for pizza, given the buy 2 get 1 free option. I also used to like the sauce (sweet & spicy) and crusts as they were unique.

Since the start, delivery from here has consistently been above an hour, even though I'm less than ten minutes down the road. So if you're starving either buckle down or go elsewhere.

The onion and pepper pizza was one of our staples and rarely bad. They overload with toppings which is nice.

The chicken they use on buffalo/barbecue pizzas isn't great, so exercise caution.

I also got a mozzarella sandwich, which by the next day wasn't appetizing. Stick to Pizzas if you want anything.

NOTE: call or walk in for the free pizza deal. They don't honor it on seamless and grub hub orders.

  5. Great personal pie pizzas. Buy 2 w/ topping get 1 plain for free :-). Call ahead because there usually busy. This place has been around for at least 10 years so clearly there doing something right.

  6. This is a great option to get delivery ,especially on lazy winter nights when all you want is to cuddle in bed in your pjs and munch on pizza. The portion sizes are humongous and the taste is good too.
Not being that huge a fan of pizza,I got the chicken parm sandwich while the hubs had the breaded chicken pizza. We also got some wings and garlic bread and the entire order came to only around $25.The wings were ok,nothing to write home about but I really liked the garlic bread. It was buttery, crunchy, garlicky,,quite delicious..The chicken parm sandwich was tasty(and huge)too, though the marinara was a tad too strong for me.
The pizza was crunchy with their special singa sauce which surprisingly, was very very good!Even though it was supposed to be a small personal pizza, the portion sizes seemed enough for two people.Overall, good value for money and a different take on traditional pizza!

  7. This review covers just the personal pizza pies; I can't write about the location or customer service. While I've passed by SINGAS many times, I've actually never stepped inside. I've just had the pizza many times whenever my coworker brought it back to the office.

My coworker didn't just bring back pizza for me a few people, but practically the entire department of about 15 people. He would walk around and take orders; it was an event. Singas pizza is THAT good. Mind you, it's not traditional Italian pizza. Let's put that out on the table right away. It's something unique in its own right. There's something about proportion of dough, pizza sauce, and cheese (and toppings if you choose) that gives it this special taste.

To boot, it's way inexpensive. Great if you are on a budget; the plain personal pie is about 5 bucks (toppings costs a little more).

  8. Tried them today for the first time. It tasted like homemade pizza, reminded me of the one we used to make at home back in India in conventional oven.

Good thing is it's not too heavy and the slices are small so you may eat a good amount of the pie. The amount of pineapple on the pizza was impressive as compared to dominoz.

Downside is that you have to order 4 things on the menu minimum for delivery. We ended up paying 25$ tip included for dinner for two !!
