  1. I came here the other day with a friend because we wanted to try a new sushi place, and this is only a few blocks from me. We were skeptical before walking in, because the outside is nothing special, but the inside is quaint and clean. There is booth and individual table seating, as well as the bar at which we sat. We had intentions of taking the food to go, but decided to stick it out.

We ordered two orders of rolls (spicy tuna and spicy salmon) and a sushi deluxe which came with 8 california rolls and 6 pieces of sushi (tuna and salmon.. yes, we ate a lot of tuna and salmon!). Our meal came with two bowls of miso soup, which had an interesting taste that was not unpleasant, just different and a seaweed/glass noodle salad that was delicious. We asked for water and received tea instead, because the owner did not speak great English. The tea, however, was very good and we were not complaining. He also asked us if we wanted more soup, so I guess that means free soup refills!

The rolls were very tasty, and very spicy! He offered us extra spicy sauce which we promptly turned down. The sushi was also very good, and not too big like I've experienced in other places. All of this (a total of 24 rolls and 6 pieces of sushi plus the soup and seaweed) came out to 20$, which I thought was pretty cheap.

I will definitely come to this place again, especially since they have takeout!

  2. Wow, we ordered $100 worth of sashimi and we were so surprised by how many skidashis they gave us. The sashimi was cut perfectly and was very fresh. The sashimi came with a California roll, shrimp skewers, edamames, grilled clams, dried fish with seaweed, korean pancakes and maewoontang. My dad called back after ordering the sashimi and ordered two more California rolls, but they gave it to us for free! Other sushi places do not give this many skidashis when ordering take-out. Definitely going to order sashimi from here from now on.
