  1. Bellissimo! Cozy & clean; inviting decor.  Wait staff is very attentive without being intrusive.  My Gnocchi Bolognese were heavenly light pillows in a tasty blush meat sauce.  Free parking in small back lot.

  2. I was here for a Baby shower they had the back area set up for the party.
Everything was nicely set up. They started u off with a nice bread basket , good bread the bread sticks were delicious.
They also served Margarita pizza for the tables good pizza.
Drinks u had your choice of White or Red wine , I started with the White good wine , ended the night with trying the Red both were good.
The baby shower included a pre set menu appetizer was the Rigatoni pasta , good pasta with mozzarella & prosciutto not bad.
Main meal I went with the Chicken Marsala this was good not too crazy about the mushrooms but the chicken was good , good veggies & potato croquet.
My friend had the Fish nice piece of fish , also with veggies & croquet. Fish was good, nice taste.
For the desert aside from our own cake we had a piece of Italian Cheesecake , good cheesecake.
As for the place itself nice size , good service everyone was nice & attentive.
Nice place to hold an event.

  3. Still never a disappointment at this spot. They also have expanded and now have a pizza place as well 🙂 Went recently and had the shrimp scampi over pasta. So delicious!!

  4. We were unsure on where to eat on our one night in the area and I think we picked well. Tasty traditional Italian with friendly service, what more could you want on a chilly New York evening? Penne alla vodka was delicious and the free bread basket and limoncello were well received. They have the usual Italian options of pastas and pizzas and it works!

  5. After living in Astoria for almost five years now and walking by this place regularly…finally gave this joint a shot for brunch and decided to stay to watch the world cup final, circa 2014.  While the food was fine and service attentive, nothing stands out that would make me return and it's been over a year at this point.  It wasn't crowded even during the cup final.  Given, this is not your typical, go-to establishment to watch a major match.

Maybe I'll go back but for dinner next time since they do get stellar reviews.

  6. I just moved here and after spending the day cleaning out the apartment, my family and I stoppe by here for dinner.
Maybe it was because the restaurant was pretty empty due to the sudden thunderstorm, but the service was perfect! Our waitress was so kind and accomodating. She regularly came by to see if we were okay and the dishes were delicious!
We got the caprese salad, ceasar salad and carpaccio to start, all were so good and the portions were great! We got the proscuitto e funghi pizza and that was so yummy.

Definitely coming back here again 🙂

  7. I went to this restaurant with a certificate for $25 off and I was pretty disappointed in the experience. The bread at the tables was lackluster and the garlic bread was at least two days old and even though an attempt was made to mask the staleness with a handful of seasoning, it was not good. The service was ok at best. We had the hot antipasto appetizer, based on the recommendation of our server, and it was inedible. Everything was overcooked and tasteless. For entrees, the caesar salad and lasagna were unremarkable (yet expensive). Dessert is probably the reason this isn't a 1 star review. The creme brule and exotic bomba were both pretty good. Not great, but good. Overall, this was overpriced bad food. I can't recommend anyone going here.

  8. What a delightfully old-school Italian place. The bread basket, the wait staff, the ambiance it definitely made for a little intimidating for me since I was in a tshirt and jeans. However, the staff made me feel comfortable and I started with their soup of the day, a potato leek which was a warm, creamy start to my meal-and the bread basket didn't hurt it either. I got their special pasta which I loved so much that I ate it without taking a picture and then when it came time for dessert I stuck around with the lemon sorbet which was a perfect end to the meal light and icy.

The lady got the Porchini Ravioli which was great for her because she's not big on a lot of meat but still had a ton of flavor for her and enough that she had leftovers for later-but I ate it when she wasn't looking.
