This place is less of a restaurant, and more of a hole in the wall.
I lived just 2 blocks away from it for years, and even I hadn't tried it until recently. There is absolutely NO ambiance here. And if you don't speak spanish (like me), it can be a little difficult to order.
But, the food is great. And that's what's important.
The chorizo tacos are insanely good. My boyfriend swears by the al pastor. They serve the tacos with sliced radishes and lime, and this green hot sauce that's unbelievable.
I've also tried their milanesa(breaded chicken cutlet) tortas and cemitas, Both were good, expecially after a night of drinking.
The best part is that this place is CHEAP! $2 tacos, $5 sandwiches (enormous sandwiches!) and $10 platters of steak, fish stuffed peppers, etc.
It's definitely not the type of place you'd commute for. But if you live in the area, it's a must try.
