  1. I have just arrived at Mangia Bene's new location! I find it to be the bittersweet end of an era, where we must fully realize that Great Neck's beloved Scotto's is really gone (the pizza place that existed before Mangia Bene took its place), and has been for well over a decade.

The new location is nicely done and has ample seating. It's a pleasant location situated right near Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic. The same employees work there and the same great tasting pizza can be had.

I regularly buy white pizza pies at Mangia Bene for my co-workers and I prefer their spinach and eggplant specialty slices.

Beverages are even more limited than before, though! They have one tiny refrigerator with only soda and no seltzer. I was disappointed.

In addition, I had to remind the gentleman to please tape my pizza box shut. And he used a small piece of tape that didn't even hold properly.

    Little problems.

Overall, it's a great pizza place, but I prefer Rosa's in Huntington.
