  1. The chicken tastes rather soggy and wet rather than fresh and crisp.  To the staff, it's just a job as they publicly display their dismal working here by giving enchanting nasty profile looks to patrons from head to toe.  They are unprofessional and completely lack the ABC in customer service.  I've requested if they have a business card the staff gave me the enchantingly nasty profile look with "what's a business card? I don't know what you're talking about."  It was like speaking to a cerebral impaired person.  The staff continously wears a rude scowl on his face to profile patrons as they enter this restaurant.  There is NO such thing as customer service to this staff team.

    Also d/b/a Palace Fried Chicken.

  2. This establishment runs under Palace Fried Chicken now.

Wow, the previous poster had some harsh words for such a modest neighborhood dig.

I'm not sure what anybody expects when walking into an independently owned fast-food place, but those guys behind the counter are more than accommodating. You see, they're sort of like mirrors. If you come in with a smile and greet them and ask how their families are doing, they serve you with a smile, come in with a greater-than-thou-because-thou-worketh-in-a-fried-chicken-joint attitude and of course they're going to reciprocate with a who-the-hell-do-you-think-you're-talking-to-like-that attitude.

But enough defending of the staff: on to the food. The truth is, you just have to get lucky and hope that you're walking in just as the chicken comes out of the fryer. You can't really expect them to make a fresh batch just for you. The chicken sits in their hot box, proudly displayed in all their juicy crispy until someone adopts them and takes them in.. and if nobody takes them in, the chicken will still be sitting there under the heat lamps, reduced to a dry/shriveled carcass of its former glorious self. But if you catch it while it's fresh, boy is it juicy! The fries are very crisp and go great with the hot sauce.

Palace also offers average pizza, average burgers, and average just about everything else too.

I wouldn't go out of my way for Palace, but it's great for a quick pitstop.
