  1. Came here for a Date-Night with one of my friends.

Price:  GREAT! She had a pasta dish, I had a Panini and we ordered a carafe of Red Wine (which served two glasses each); bill was $40!

Food:  GREAT!  The portions seemed larger than we expected.  You don't need an appetizer here.  I had a pesto,  parmesan and grilled chicken Panini.  So good!

Drink:  The wine was good.  We ordered house red.  Wasn't boxed wine, but was a house red.  $15 for a carafe that gave us each 2 glasses each, it's great.  No complaints here.

Location:  On Lexington Avenue on 74th…great location.

Ambiance:  It was casual and comfy.  This location is the laid-back version of the actual Vivolo restaurant.  So, it was very café like.

Staff: Friendly, not pushy and attentive.

I fully recommend this place for a cheap night out. 🙂

  2. I came here with 2 friends the other day.

It has a modern/sleek look to the place, but it's a bit small. Each table had a single tea-light candle placed on it– so it gave a warm and intimate feel to the restaurant.

Outdoor seating is available, but since it was humid out– we wanted to stay inside. There were a lot of people when we got there so we had to wait 20-25 minutes. We sat in the bar section and ordered some bruschetta. My friend had the sangria– it was quite tasty!

The food was pretty good, but the waiter accidentally got my friend's salad order wrong. We didn't make a fuss about it because it still tasted good, but if you go– just make sure you verify your order so that the mistake doesn't happen to you.

I got italian meatloaf with mashed potatoes and my other friend got a spaghetti dish with some chicken.

It was a cozy place to eat with a small group of friends. The price wasn't too shabby either! 😀

  3. My review is actually for their 58th Street location. I came here with my boss and a colleague for a quick lunch and was really delighted by the quality of food. It's attached to Bar Vetro, so I'm not surprise, just delighted. I'm trying to eat fish, so I had tuna over greens. The greens were really fresh and a nice mix that complemented the tuna. The tuna salad was light, and as someone who typically hates all-things mayo-based, I was happy that they didn't seem to use too much. For $8.50, I'd certainly order this multiple times per week, or some variation on it. I am also tempted to try their whole wheat pasta dish. It all just sounded so gooood.
