It's refreshing to find a sushi restaurant that still takes pride in making not only great tasting food, but making edible art without astronomical NYC prices. The staff and chefs all make incredible efforts to ensure that your dining experience is fulfilled and enjoyable. Enjoy!
Stumbled upon this gem at random. It is located in a strip mall area with an Applebee's, Panera, Moe's and Starbucks. Why you would choose any of those options over this, I have no idea. I would hate to see this place close just because of it's location. It is very nicely decorated inside, the staff is very friendly and super attentive. The sushi itself is extremely delicious. It is very fresh, the salmon sushi melting in my mouth like butter. Except better. Yummy shumai dumplings, generous portions of everything from avocado on a salad to the amount of fish you receive with an order. They do not skimp at all, which I find rare. This place should be receiving a lot more traffic and I am hoping it will. This is the best sushi place I have been to besides Mitsuwa in Edgewater.
Thanks to Yelp I found an awesome new sushi restaurant to go to. I tried a variety of things from their menu and everything tasted great. The service was good but if I had one small issue it was with the food coming out too quick. Next time I will order one dish at a time.
Popped in for a quick lunch and ordered a seaweed salad and miso soup to start. Prior to these arriving I was given what a 'crunchy crab' salad on the house. While the gesture was nice and did not particularly like the concoction as it did not even remotely taste like crab and was a bit overdressed.
The miso soup and salad were your standard offerings and did the job.
I went with a spicy tuna handroll and a yellow tail, jalapeno and avocado handroll. Both had a nice flavor and were of a largish size so they were filling.
Service was freidnly and prices were reasonable.
