  1. If I had to pick one word to best describe this sushi spot it would be mediocre. it was not bad but not good either. The selection is somewhat limited and it is not a shrimp lovers fantasy. Service was good.

  2. Finally an AYCE Sushi place that does not smell like rotten fish, and serves fresh sushi!

All these AYCE Sushi places relatively serve the same things. However there is always a big difference with freshness, and service. This place had great service. They seemed to have a nice system going on with food runners, waitresses, etc. We had no complaints there.

The portions of everything, especially the little appetizers, were bigger than most places. However like every AYCE place I go to, they never give us everything we right down on the menu. I guess they do that on purpose, thinking we won't eat it and they do not want to waste. But I asked them personally to bring a few things that they forgot.

The food was seriously better then many other sushi joints. Excellent miso, excellent cold noodles, and the sushi was some of the freshest I had in a while. I mean the soft shell crab roll was actually still warm from the freshly fried crab. Nothing was oily or too fishy. In fact, it was the best spicy tuna roll I ever had. Ever. So totally fresh, and my fiancé even liked it, even though he hates raw sushi. But the freshness made it taste great.

Really happy with this place. Will be coming back soon.

  3. To start with the bad, I knocked off a star because they forgot parts of our order three times (and other reviewers mention this as well, so it seems to be a recurring problem).

Otherwise, I thought this was the best AYCE sushi places I've visited, although it is the only one I've eaten at outside of NYC. The selection and quality were impressive, including appetizers, soups and ice cream, particularly for featuring a personal favorite of mine: the Dragon Roll. The atmosphere was much more relaxed, especially compared to AYCE spots near NYU or the like. And finally, the $21 price tag is great, even though it does not also include AYCD as well.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't eager to return soon. Although forgetting pieces of our orders was annoying, since its AYCE, you can just order it again I suppose.

  4. Sushi was good! Service was fast and attentive.
The quality of food was pretty good for an AYCE restaurant in the area.

The red bean ice cream was a good end to a great feast 🙂

  5. I came back here a few more times for private corporate parties. The food and service qualities remain solid. This business surely proves to be a very stable and reliable location for an annual get-together of 15+ people.

Godzilla Rolls are still the best!

  6. Wow – a really decent AYCE sushi place that is not pricey!

They had a really great selection of cooked foods and sushi! Love that you can order by portion so that you are not wasting food if you are just looking to try it! The only downside is that the specialty rolls do come in full size, so be careful on how many you order – unless you are coming with a big group of people to share it with.

The eel and avocado roll is excellent! So is the soft shell spider crab roll. The seafood udon was really good! And tempura was fresh!

The egg custard was a bit on the hard and flimsy side, so I would just skip it! And when you order eel as sashimi – it literally is just the bbq eel with bbq sauce – so stick with it as sushi or in a roll.

Overall, great place to eat! And you can't go wrong with $19.95 per person for sushi buffet!

    We will be back!

  7. good and fast delivery.

while the salmon teriyaki wasn't the best I've had (small pieces of salmon, somewhat watery sauce), the dinner bento box is a great deal, including entree, 2 pc shumai, a sushi roll of your choosing, side salad, miso soup, AND a small portion of shrimp/veg tempura, all for about $16. It may not wow you, but it will fill you up and then some.

  8. Free soda with the Yelp check-in, delectable barbecue squid, ultra-fresh cuts of fishes, delicious ice creams (red bean with red bean bits, chocolate and green tea), efficient service, minimalist and clean decor, easy and free to park on the shopping center parking lot, $10 AYCE for children…

My favorites were: yellowtail sashimi with jalapeños, seaweed salad, the eel and avocado roll, eel nigiri, tobiko nigiri, red clam nigiri, salmon pepper sashimi, etc.

Our party of eight have been enjoying often this place. We will definitely recommend you will give them a try if you were to be around.
