  1. I can't believe the El Paso truck is not on Yelp. This is easily the best express Mexican experience in Manhattan.
    After months of frustration in trying East Side Mexican food (I tried almost everything south east of 5th and 85th), I desperately took the advice of Dean B and ventured towards E.116th with a few equally dispirited friends. We walked down the block a few times looking for the "sit in" El Paso Tacqueria (of good repute on Yelp) but in the end decided the taco truck between Lex and Third Ave. had all the right signs of authenticity:
    a)little kid offering refreshing home made horchata, and lime aid.
    b)$2 tacos packed with your choice of freshly grilled Carnitas, Al Pastore, Steak, Tongue or Chicken.
    c)Owner of the truck business catching up with neighborhood folks while cradling his young child.
    d)Friendly tattooed fellow cooking up the meet!
    Add a condiment bar with radishes, cucumber and salsa and you're in Mission St., SF.  

    There is simply nothing to complain about. Guac wasn't great, but who the hell cares. El Paso is a local gem.
